I run a
trout fishing website that sees around 600 visitors a day, most of them anglers and most of them from the United States. I've posted this small endorsement at the top of every page on the site:
(By the way, here's a small problem with the Kos diary system. I tried to put the whole thing in the main entry, and it told me that the main entry was too long. So I moved the endorsement paragraph to the extended entry, and it told me that the main entry was too short. Hopefully this little paragraph will fix that.)
Please remember to get out and vote for John Kerry on November 2nd. George Bush has intentionally reversed years of work that protected our trout streams, just to put money in his cronies' pockets. And he's made such lousy decisions in the war on terror that al Qaeda is actually stronger now than they were before he started. Bush thinks that talking tough and wearing a cowboy hat can cover that up, but John Kerry knows that toughness is about more than just sending other peoples' kids to die. Toughness means doing the hard work to think out a smart strategy to destroy the real enemy, not charging gung-ho into a dangerous diversion with his head up his ass and someone else's life on the line. Our troops have paid a steep price for a Yosemite Sam foreign policy that's created way more terrorists than it's destroyed and made us less safe, not more. Our troops have paid for Bush's mistakes with their lives and their limbs, and the time has come to hold him accountable for what he's done to them and to this country.
